Powered sites

See the page
What is a powered site?

Land that comes with electrical capacity for a data center or mining build, so the project starts from megawatts instead of from a request for utility service.

How do I see what is available?

Send your megawatts, region and timeline. We match you to a site Big Star Power owns or controls and share its site sheet under NDA.

What is in a site sheet?

Available power and voltage, utility and market, service study and contract status, acreage, fiber, water, and zoning and permitting status.

Can you supply the equipment for the site too?

Yes. BiXBiT USA supplies padmount and substation transformers, switchboards, gas turbines and modular data centers for the build.

What if the grid cannot deliver in time?

We source GE and Mitsubishi gas turbines in the 10 MW to 500+ MW class range for behind the meter generation.

Which workloads are the sites for?

AI and HPC, colocation, ASIC mining and industrial loads.

Padmount transformers

See the page
How fast can you deliver a padmount transformer?

In as little as 6 to 8 weeks, using reserved production capacity. Your exact date depends on rating, voltage and quantity, and we confirm it on the quote.

What do you need from me to quote?

A full spec sheet or nameplate, your RFQ document, and general information including destination, timeline and quantity.

What standards do your transformers meet?

UL and ANSI, and they are DOE 2016 compliant.

What is the warranty?

12 to 24 months, with extended warranties available. The term is set per project.

Can you build to a custom specification?

Yes. Send your requirements and our team will return drawings for approval, typically within 1 to 2 weeks.

Do you support the install?

Yes. Our U.S. based service team supports installation, commissioning and ongoing operation.

Substation transformers

See the page
What is the lead time on a substation transformer?

6 to 8 months after drawing approval. If you need it sooner, tell us your date and we will look at what is possible.

How large can you build?

Up to 300 MVA, from distribution through high voltage classes.

Which standards apply?

NEMA, ANSI C57, DOE and IEEE, depending on the project.

What testing is available?

Routine, type and special tests.

What is the warranty?

12 to 24 months, with extended warranties available. The term is set per project.

What do you need to quote?

A full spec sheet or nameplate, your RFQ document, and general information including destination, timeline and quantity.

Switchboards

See the page
What is the lead time on a switchboard?

About 24 weeks, depending on configuration. We confirm the date for your order on the quote.

Which breaker brands can I choose?

ABB, LS Electric or Square D.

What ratings do you build?

Up to 4000 A at 120/208 V or 277/480 V, with short circuit ratings up to 100 kAIC.

Are they UL listed?

Yes. Our switchboards are UL 891 listed.

Indoor or outdoor?

Both. NEMA 1 and NEMA 3R enclosures are available.

Where are they built?

They are assembled and tested in Florida, USA.

Gas turbines

See the page
What sizes can you source?

Turbines in the 10 MW to 500+ MW class range.

Which manufacturers?

GE and Mitsubishi.

New or refurbished?

Both, so the configuration can fit your budget and timeline.

What fuel options are there?

Natural gas as the primary fuel, with dual fuel configurations that add liquid fuel backup.

Can you supply the rest of the power stack?

Yes. We bundle transformers, switchboards and cooling with the turbine so you deal with one vendor.

What do you need to quote?

Required MW, fuel availability, site location and your target energization date.

Modular data centers

See the page
How fast can a module be delivered?

Delivery takes 3 to 4 months. Site work proceeds while the module is built in the factory.

How big can a deployment get?

One platform runs from a single edge module to a multi megawatt campus, adding modules as your load grows.

What rack density do you support?

From standard enterprise racks to liquid cooled NVL72 class GPU racks. Tell us your GPU class and we size power and cooling to it.

What cooling options are there?

Air, hybrid direct liquid cooling or full liquid, selected for the GPU class you are deploying.

How efficient is it?

Liquid cooled AI configurations run with far less cooling overhead than air cooled halls. Design PUE is set per deployment and depends on the cooling mode and site climate.

What redundancy can I get?

N, N+1 or 2N for both power and cooling, configured per deployment.

What power does a module need?

480 V, 3 phase input, with other distribution voltages configured per deployment. We also supply the transformers, switchboards and generation that feed it.

Which standards are the modules designed to?

NEC, UL 2755, NFPA 75, IBC seismic and wind, and ASHRAE TC9.9. Certification scope is set per module at final engineering review.

How fast do I get a quote?

Submit your IT load, GPU class and site, and our engineering team comes back with a configuration and pricing.

What is the warranty?

12 to 24 months, with extended warranties available.

BiXBiT Prime firmware

See the page
What does the trial cost?

Nothing. The trial runs 30 days at 0% DevFee with full features. On day 31 it converts to the Public Version at a 2.8% DevFee, taken from mining time.

Can I go back to stock firmware?

Yes. You can revert to stock at any time, before or after day 30, and our team will help you do it.

Which miners are supported?

Antminer® S21, S19, T21, T19, L9 and L7 series, and WhatsMiner® M30, M50 and M60 series.

How much efficiency will I gain?

BiXBiT internal testing under controlled conditions measured a 5 to 6% efficiency improvement across six Antminer® models. Your results will vary with hardware condition, ambient temperature, pool configuration and network difficulty.

Who installs it?

Our team handles the install. Mass remote installation is supported, and most operators start with 10 to 20 units.

Does it affect my hardware warranty?

Installing third party firmware may void your hardware manufacturer's warranty. Overclocking and undervolting can affect hardware performance and lifespan.

Is there a volume rate?

Operations with 500 or more miners qualify for the volume rate at a 2.0% DevFee. Enterprise terms are negotiated case by case.

Does it work with fleet monitoring?

Yes. Miners on BiXBiT Prime connect to BiXBiT AMS automatically, with full telemetry from day one.

BiXBiT AMS

See the page
Do I need BiXBiT firmware to use it?

No. AMS works with any firmware. Miners on BiXBiT Prime connect automatically, and others connect through the AMS Connector app by IP address or pool credentials.

What can I control from AMS?

You can change pools, restart devices, stop or start mining and switch between efficiency and performance modes.

How do alerts work?

Set custom alerts for hashrate drops, pool switches, temperature spikes and device shutdowns, delivered by Telegram, email or webhook.

Can my whole team use it?

Yes. Assign admin, operator or viewer roles, and create and track tickets across the fleet.

Does it work with BiXBiT containers?

Yes. AMS monitors BiXBiT containers and cooling equipment across more than 100 parameters.
